Title Basic Sales Training: Bones, Joints,
and Rheumatoid Arthritis
Media Website (Flash and HTML)
Audience Johnson & Johnson Immunology Sales Representatives
Description
Immunology sales representatives have lengthy conversations
with medical staff, requiring the exchange of deep
clinical and technical knowledge to build credible
sales messages for an arthritis drug. This course
allows the representatives to quickly learn about
bones, joints, and rheumatoid arthritis, and apply
that knowledge in conversations with practitioners.
This course was part of a blended solution involving
an e-learning suite of 12 courses and subsequent instructor-led
training. The suite builds foundational knowledge
of the drug, disease states, anatomy and physiology,
drug prescribing information, and competitive information.
The ILT builds upon this foundation through the sales
scenarios.
It is currently used for both new representatives
as part of a home study program, as well as tenured
representatives in the field for advanced knowledge.
Accomplishments I was the instructional designer
for four courses of the twelve course series. I developed
content and content layout. I outlined and storyboarded
flash-based learning activities and wrote knowledge
assessment questions.
