Thank you for participating in my Masters research project. Your
input will inform the development of patient education software that would
allow patients to better utilize their time with their doctor.
Task
Scenario:
Johnny is a family member and has requested your help in calling the doctor
on his behalf. Observe the symptoms he displays and from your knowledge
and experience, answer the following questions.
1. How would you describe Johnnys symptoms to a doctor?
2. What questions would you ask Johnny to clarify his symptoms?
3.What other symptoms would you look out for along with the ones he is
showing?
4. What steps would you take to manage Johnnys present symptoms
until he sees his doctor?
Group 2
Thank you for participating in my Masters research project. Your

in front of you to help you understand how to talk to his doctor. You
may take brief notes.
Answer the following questions without referring to the application. This
is not a test of your memory. Your questions are just as important as
your answers.

3. What other symptoms would you look out for along with the ones he is
showing?
