In the
first quarter, we built the foundations for an effective learning
community within our cohort. We discussed topics related to
learning, design and technology such as our previous work,
career plans, news about ideas, projects, learning opportunities,
and events on campus and in the Bay Area. We tackled learning
design projects that introduced basic design methods and issues
and developed important skills such as teamwork, project management,
web authoring and retrieving specialized information using
the Web and Stanford libraries.
