The goals of this course were twofold. First, the weekly readings and writing assignments were focused on the evolution of educational multimedia over the past 20 years. Second, the entire class worked over the course of the quarter to produce a source of information about interactive media and how it can be used in the classroom.
The final product of the course was a community on Ning.com to provide resources for educators and students about interactive media in education. The content of the site was a combination of student work during the quarter and some external research in each subject area on the site.
My role in this project was to be one of three people to coordinate the efforts of the rest of the students to produce a cohesive web resource. We were responsible for choosing the technical solution (Ning) and making sure everyone's content was presented in the most effective way possible.
