EATS Problem-Based Economic Curriculum
Design analysis consisted of three parts: design review, learner studies and principled redesign.

This was a web-based simulation that focused facilitating the teaching of economics to high school students. The unit leverages technology to design an application that creates surveys for Palm handheld devices to collect, analyze, and illustrate real-world economics based problems. The application is known as the Economic Analysis and Tally System (EATS).

We discussed the benefits for a High School to use the EATS problem based economics unit. We identified the embedded assessments that the program had developed. Finally we stated the initial strengths, weaknesses, and future directions for EATS
