CUDO was my joint Master's Project with Brian Young. Over the year, we built a fully-functional career exploration tool for high schoolers. Unlike the dry, text-based information that is normally used, we designed a dynamic, highly visual experience where students could engage with real people and see aggregated data based on the site's users.
We believe everyone is an expert in what they do, and that the details of a person's day-to-day experience are more important than statistics about salary, industry growth, or job outlook.
In conjunction with the San Jose Tech Museum, we designed a web activity to go with a major View from Space exhibit featuring a 10' projection globe. Starting with high-resolution images of the Earth (provided by NASA), we designed two games teaching specific Earth Science standards for 6th graders.

My life mantras are "there is no such thing as absolute certainty,"
"many people die with their music still in them," and "we cast a shadow on something wherever we stand." They all drive me to believe that every day is valuable, that there is always room to grow, and that everything you do changes the world, so you better make it count.
