Digital Debrief is a wireless streaming-video system that aggregates
people’s real-time and reflective experiences of events
through the use of video and coded responses. Portable handheld
devices act as primary input mechanism for collecting data and
composite viewing consoles facilitate individual and group reflection
and analysis.
Two
applications of this system are ClassDebrief,
which enables students in lecture-based learning environments
to identify key areas of a lecture to reflect upon and discuss
with other students and faculty via online activities; and GroupDebrief,
which enables student learning groups to develop reflective
practices in order to improve group learning interactions. |
