I worked on Intel Teach Essential Online Course Global Program Evaluation, regarding the train the trainer model. We developed surveys, interview questions and analyzed training data from the US. We interviewed Reginal Training Associations who are in charge of implementation Intel programs in the US as well as eight other countries.

 I worked on East Bay Academy for Young Scientists (EBAYS) project. For EBAYS, an NSF-funded program that aims to increase students’ understanding and enjoyment of science, I conducted class observation in schools in Oakland. I participated in qualitative data analysis and report writing based on information gathered from observations and interviews. We wanted to see if the program had an impact on students’ understanding of the Nature of Science. I also conducted observations in 3D Gaming classrooms and interviewed the teacher for Digital Pathways Project. Digital Pathways is a new after school program bu BAVC that prepares young people for careers in media and technology through classroom instruction and internships.
