Welcome to my collection of projects as a designer-educator-social entrepreneur.
I completed my Master's Degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from the Stanford School of Education in 2009. Since then, I've been working as an Interaction Designer in the Bay Area. I also have a B.S. Engineering in Product Design from Stanford, which explains my interest in new interaction models and devices.
On the surface, each project you see here might seem very different from the next. However, I have a deep sense of purpose underpinning everything I create:
I believe that everyone deserves dignity, and that design has the ability to provide it.
My goal as a designer is to create humanizing experiences by listening deeply to people's needs and defending them in my work.
My goal as a designer is to create humanizing experiences by listening deeply to people's needs and defending them in my work.
I embed opportunities for learning in my work rather than dumbing down the design because I believe that it empowers people to grow in our a complex world.
I hope you enjoy looking at this condensed body of work, and will join me in the conversation about the role of dignity in design! Thanks for stopping by.
