Content Design
As a content designer at the
Waterford Institute,
I had the opportunity to create curricula for educational computer activities.
In addition, I worked on design teams to make the activities developmentally
appropriate, and I stayed abreast of research in education. I continue to work
for the Waterford Institute as a consultant.
Vocabulary: Importance, Instruction, and Implementation
In February 2006, I co-presented on vocabulary at the annual Waterford Best Practices Conference. Over 200 people registered for the conference.

Content Design Work
As a reading, mathematics, and science content designer, I developed curricular sequences, educational requirements for songs, and text for mathematics and science children's books. Due to the senstive nature of these items, I am unable to include links to them. I also assisted with development of test items for an adaptive reading test, The Waterford Assessment of Core Skills (WACS). I even appear in the WACS demo for a couple seconds.
