What is it?
Each person has their own email
account. Through this account, they can
send messages and files to others with
email accounts, and can receive such
messages/files from others. Email also
allows people to join newsgroups and
listservs (where one email address
reaches many people interested in the
same topic of discussion). Through
email, one can store incoming messages
for any period of time and keep a record
of all discussion that has taken place.
Where do I find it?
There are many providers of free email
accounts with limited (but generally
sufficient) account space for saving
messages and in-coming attachments.
