 Online Dialog, Any-Time (asynchronous)
Technology can be used to have
discussions on-line at any time. These
discussions can happen with people
located close or far away. In this
particular category, the discussion is
asynchronous and can last for an
extended period of time. Each person
"speaks" at a time convenient to him/her,
and receivers will get the information
when they request it at which time they
can respond immediately or wait until
another time. The first person will receive
responses only when the receivers have
sent them and when the first user
requests the information. This cycle can
continue over a long period of time.
