bullet3 Net Meeting

What is it?

NetMeeting is a free suite of collaboration tools available from Microsoft, and is pre-installed on most new Windows PC's. Users can connect together on the internet to simultaneously share video, audio, whiteboards (for collaborative scribbling), and chat. One of the most interesting uses is its ability to "share" or even control software applications with a remote computer. This is widely used in industry where remote team-members need to show powerpoint slides, spreadsheets, or word documents to their colleagues in offices across the world. This can be used with some of the math applications elsewhere in this mind map, making them collaborative applications even when students are not physically together.
