Software for lecture
What is it?
Many programs can be used by the
teacher to project images for the class.
These images will look more accurate
than chalk-board drawings (especially for
3D images), and their parameters can be
changed in real time to respond to
student questions.
Where can I get it?
Just about any application for students
can be used by teachers just for their
presentation value. These include MS
Powerpoint, MS Excel, Geometer's
Sketchpad, Geometric Supposer,
LiveMath, SimCalc, etc. Please refer to
the other sections in "...help my students
visualize abstract concepts" for more
programs and information about them.
