Olmsted S'mores

Okay warning, this is a non academic post. Today I was helping Natalie pack her apartment in Escondido Village after we swam in Stanford's beautiful Avery pool. We ate dinner and made up this tempting recipe.

Olmsted Smores
1 Plain graham cracker
15 morsels from a bag of Special Dark Hershey's baking chips
1 marshmallow

Preparation instructions
  1. Split the sheet of graham cracker in half width-wise

  2. Place the half on a plate

  3. Deftly Assemble morsels on cracker.

  4. Nuke in microwave for 8 - 10 seconds

  5. Open microwave. Place marshmallow in the middle of the chocolate on cracker

  6. Nuke for 8 - 10 seconds until entertainingly huge (not too big, it will stiffen)

  7. Open microwave and cover with other half of graham cracker.

  8. Eat like a sandwich

Enjoy...

The special dark morsels make this a decadent treat. The nutty, warm texture of the graham cracker help to round out the bitter sweetness of this mallow-chocolate confection. Watch out, having more than two could induce a sugar-induced coma.
