Crazy Game Idea 5: Boosa - The Right Touch

Premise: The gift is in your hands. Touch the Boosa or anything in their squishy world and it heals. Reshape landscapes, design clouds, dissolve political factions, build homes and even make babies.

Features:
  • Touch screen based simulation and art game where you use both hands to design.

  • Birth Boosa to populate a 3D planet you manipulate and rotate with your hands

  • Easy tutorial embedded in the game to show you how to sculpt, birth, heal and shape the Boosa

  • Boosa have varied personalities! They can express a range of emotions through body language and color.

  • Boosa like to sleep, play, and and are highly entertained by watching you create trees, draw rivers and paint clouds in the sky

  • Goal is to create as many Boosa as you can of different colors. Though bullies and factions disrupt you, everything can be solved with the right touch.

  • Pick from a variety of music sound tracks for you and your Boosa to enjoy.

  • Take pictures of your Boosa and share with an online community

Why play this game: First, you interact with everything by touch. Touch is seldom used in games beyond the Nintendo DS and maybe Journey of the Wild Divine to a limited extent. Second, this is a more intuitive interface. You don't have to learn a 15 button controller. You use your natural digits and palms. Third, it's very open ended. The game has no story except the one you create. It's like playing with dolls. I played with dolls. My Barbies were intense...quite intense. This world is one of your choosing. Fourth, it's pretty diverse. The gameplay is like finger painting, PlayDough, The Sims, a petting zoo and biofeedback all in one. You are shaping the world and ... you feel appreciated. The Game was inspired by this video Crazy Multi-Input Touch Screen.
