Stunning graphics and movie-like credits begin what is agreeably a great simulation game. Gran Turismo is more than a controller-gripping, high speed thrill game-- it is a learning tool. Sub-titled a "true car simulation", Gran Turismo gives you the tools to analyze, review and practice your driving skills. The ability to review your gameplay is a huge aspect of learning. The concept of After Action Reviews is not new to the Army who institutionalized AARs. We know that if you review your performance you are likely to improve. GT4 does this amazingly well. You are offered shadow cars that show you your last performance while you play, graphs, replay from multiple camera angles and even an example showing you how the computer would play.
