Game Review: Final Fantasy X-2
Final Fantasy X-2 (PS2) on is a spin-off of the very popular Final Fantasy series, published and developed by Square Enix. It is of the RPG genre. You play as one of three characters, a team of women going against a series of enemies. I chose this game as an intro into the genre, it turned out that I didn't get very far. One of the more important aspects of this genre is story.
The FF series are known for their beautiful cutscences that are interspersed between play. That and the female characters and I was already setup to really like the game. Unfortunatley I didn't get past level 1. My biggest issue: fight scenes. To fight an enemy the screen would freeze, crack and then you would get a menu of options to choose which attach you wanted. You selected the attack and then your opponent would attack. Coming from a background of action and platform games, turn-based fighting irritated me. It took me out of the immersiveness of the experience. There should be a quick way to access attacks while you are playing. The game we are desinging for CA190, Anima, uses a stylus and voice commands. So I'm not yet an RPG fan. I'll hold out for another game. Read the reivew on Gamespot.

this final fantasy sequel rocks! even though my cousins didn't like it because they think it's cornie especially when they first saw yuna singing and dancing. but YRP are really entertainable characters especially when they have bonding moment. their funny reactions it's like they are just typical teenage girls who wanna have fun in life. carefree, nothing to worry about, but actually the story development has them facing their inevitable past. present and future problems. make themselves acting more mature and acting like a true woman. deciding from right and wrong.
