Goventure business simulation

A coworker handed me a demo CD Wednesday of a game that simulates how to run a business created by a company called Goventure By the sound of the narrator's accent this is a Canadian company. The allowed you to select a scenario like running a fast food restaurant and manage inventory, service customers, hire staff and eventually sell your business to end the game. What was cool was that you could insert your own picture, take a personality assessment, and it attempts to immerse you in the environment by using real world icons to perform action. For example to write a business plan you would open your suticase and pull out a laptop or to place an order you would click on the phone. What wasn't cool was that the graphics were very 90s with waxy beveled font. Their 2D avatar that served as the coach did not add to the experience. Finally the delivery was CD based and just too slow.
Thoughts for later: what makes a good simulation? How does this compare to the sims?
