LDT Portfolio

Below is a selection of projects I completed during the LDT Program.

Financial Smackdown! (Master's Project)
Fellow LDT'er Vic Vuchic and I created Financial Smackdown for our Master's Project. Financial Smackdown challenges a learner to assume responsibility for the financial well-being of a digital protégé. Interacting through a mobile phone and web browser over the course of two-weeks, a learner helps his or her protégé achieve personal happiness and future freedom by navigating realistic financial decisions.

LDT Program Website
Working with project leader Piya Sorcar and fellow LDT'er Brandon Suzuki, I helped design and develop the official LDT website for the program. This was also my project for EDUC 391X - Web Learning Technologies.

Computer-based Decision Trap Games and Transfer
This was an end-of-quarter assignment for Dan Schwartz's EDUC 218 - Cognition and Transfer. It was challenging to design, conduct and write up my first experiment in accordance with academic standards. The results - not what I expected - were worth it!

One call to solve them all!
ICS XEROX
For EDUC 333A and with fellow LDT'ers Sherwin Cheng and Brandon Suzuki, I developed a proposal for a Xerox call centre that would maximize customer satisfaction through improved telerepresentative learning. This project afforded an opportunity to unite my newly acquired learning theory knowledge with my prior change management experience.
