The LDT program culminates with a Masters project in which students attempt to solve a learning problem. After many weeks of brainstorming, my excellent partner Sara Petry and I decided to assist low-income students in their pursuit of higher education. We researched this important field of education as well as the possibility of creating an intelligent agent to provide free financial aid information for these students. Thus CAIA, a College Advising Intelligent Agent, was born. After conducting a strong user study at College Track, we presented on Friday July 25, 2008 during the LDT expo.
