Adina's Deck is a 30 minute film, website and parent/teachers guide to educate middle school students about virtual identity and cyber bullying: harmful uses of text messaging, networking sites, & email.

Adina's Deck has been very busy in 2008. In addition to teacher's requesting copies from two new countries: Britian and Canada, the film has been accepted into 5 film festivals! These include:
* Kid's First Film Festival
* Sacramento International Film Festival
* International Family Film Festival
* San Francisco Bay Area International Film Festival
* East Lansing Children's Film Festival

Jason and I have been traveling nationally for speaking engagements as well. Pleae email us for more information.

In addition, we are in pre-production for episodes 2 and 3. Topics will be online predators/dating and plagairism. More information will be coming soon!

Within the past month, schools in nine different states and one Inernationally have brought Adina's Deck into the classroom!

Jason and I attended CTAP region IV's Cyber Citizenship Summit Yahoo this past Friday, Oct. 19th. We spent the day with leaders in the Cyber Bullying field such as Nancy Willard and Larry Magid. It was an incredible experience. Chris Walsh, a fellow LDT alumni interviewed Jason and I about Adina's Deck for his blog, School 180.

The Cyber Bully Film project website has been updated! To read a synopsis of Adina's Deck, click here. I also added the assessment results that were taken from over 100 students who watched Adina's Deck. Scores reflecting cyber bully knowledge improved in difficult areas. Click here for complete results. All of the links to the right reflect the background of the film. Most of these updates are for my web portfolio, part of the requirement for my Master's program.
