TREC Nepal is a classroom-based mobile learning and communication device
that connects primary school children in a remote village to their secondary
school counterparts in town. The technology provides a platform for digital
mentorship for the children. Older children can create small audio lessons and
send them back to their juniors, who can then learn and respond. While
providing motivation, mentorship and more learning opportunities for the
primary school children in the village, at the same time TREC Nepal helps the
older kids to stay connected with their village.
