GSB356: Evaluating Entrepreneurial Opportunities

This is an integrated lab course in entrepreneurship designed to teach students the process and tasks required to evaluate and create a new enterprise. Law 628: Interpersonal Influence and Leadership

This lab teaches how to build more open and effective working relationships as well as the foundational skills of face-to-face leadership. Improving knowledge and abilities in interpersonal communication is crucial to becoming a more effective leader in today’s complex and highly interdependent organizations. This course included weekly 4 hour-long "T-Group" sessions. In addition, part of our experience included a weekend retreat at Pajara Dunes! Amanda Mathias, Elizabeth Peterson and I were in the same group, along with eight other amazing people.

Ed124: Collaborative Design and Research of Technology: Integrated Curriculum

professor Shelley Goldman

The course introduced participatory design models for the development and research of educational materials through a studio-based, materials development project. The course integrates three emerging ideas into a studio experience where education students and technology students will pool their disparate, yet necessary and complementary knowledge and skill sets to work with a teacher to design, program, develop learning activities, field test and revise a curriculum sequence. In this course, Aneto Okonkwo, Chiedozi Acholonu and I created a game to teach the Lord Vassal system for Stephen Carothers 7th grade Class in Pleasanton. To read more about it, click here.
