Skyline is a toy design studio located in Palo Alto, CA. It is a sub-studio of IDEO. What Skyline does has important implications to the design process. Skyline is not a manufacturer. They sell ideas for toys to toy manufacturers, who then market and produce the toy. Skyline receives royalties from the sale of the toys, so it is important to them to design toys that will appeal to a large number of people.
