Purpose: Now that you've done some of the basics with the score, let's keep on going and get down the rest of the basics. Next week we get into Lingo! Assignment: Okay - time to put the "multi" into multimedia. Use your new skills to tell another story. Aside from using your new skills from what you've read, here's the requirements for the story: 1. Use "found" graphics. By this I mean use graphics from the web or any other source and import them. Modify them if you like using Director or some other manipulation tool. 2. Add a soundtrack and some sound effects. If you know how to record your own music or sounds, go for it. 3. Use an ink effect somewhere. 4. Try out the "Real-Time Recording" function in Director, even if you don't use the final results in your movie. 5. Make a projector file and try it out. 6. Make your movie into a Shockwave file and practice embedding it into an HTML page. Upload the web page to your Leland account and turn in a link to it here. |
