Lab 1

Purpose: To familiarize you with the Director interface and get you started using it to do basic animations. Look through the CD-ROM accompanying the book and try out some of the samples to get an idea of the kinds of things you'll be able to do.

Assignment: Using 2 or more simple geometric shapes, create a short movie that tells a story of an interaction between the shapes. Upload the .DIR file to your Leland account and turn in a link to it here. We will get into Shockwave in a future lab.
