"It's
very difficult to describe my reactions to Rocky's Boots.
There is a "wow" sort of response that goes back to
my first set of Lincoln Logs and Tinker Toys-building
and fantasizing all wrapped together. Added to that
is the thrill of putting my first radio set together
and all of the really neat science labs I remember from
5th and 6th grade."

Description
In an amazing program that appeals to 9-year-olds yet
challenges adults, users design logic machines using
simulated computer circuits. Hailed as a software classic
by The New York Times, the award-winning Rocky's
Boots helps develop skills in logical problem solving,
abstract reasoning and creative thinking. The concepts
of electronic circuitry, circuit design and logic are
explored in a motivating environment where players invent
machines to solve puzzles and win over 30 different
games, including games they design themselves. By experimenting
with simulated real-world electronic parts and "electricity,"
players as young as 9 years old learn basic computer
logic.
