A scorecard can enable you to replay an
entire game. Each player on both teams is listed, and notation is made about his at bat.
Notice that each inning is in a separate column. Notice also that when a player gets on
base, his progress around the basepaths is charted. At the bottom of each column are
totalled the runs, hits, and number of men left on base that inning. Are you ready to learn how to keep score?
