Many of the resources which I designed or facilitated now reside on the World Wide Web. As the web is dynamic, many of these sites may appear in a different form than the original.

Jacob and Jason, both sophomore band members, chronicled the adventures of the Escadrille marching band at the 1997 Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade via digital camera. Every night, they downloaded the pictures, and emailed them back to Allen to be uploaded to the web pages they had created.

Allen High School was a charter member of the Virtual High School program based in Concord, Ma. Funded by a U.S. Challenge Grant, the VHS facilitated courses taught entirely via the Internet by faculty around the country to students around the country. This web site chronicles the beginnings of Allen High School's involvement.

The Live Wire is an Electronic Cafe that was developed by students for students at Allen High School. As a facilitator of the student planning team and the first to run the lab with the amazing Patricia Ewing, much of the spirit of the Live Wire is communicated through this site.

The American Technology Honor Society is sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Allen High School was one of the first schools in the nation to propose a charter and begin operations. This page illustrates many of the activities and accomplishments of the first semester of ATHS.

S.T.A.N.D., Students Taking Action for National Democracy, was the brainchild of government teacher Kieth Sullivan. Putting his ideas and his students' work on-line was the first entry into the International Cyberfair contest for Allen High School. This page not only demonstrates the innovative learning occuring, but also the innovative communication happening with AHS students. This entry placed 5th in the world.

NETcessities is a teacher resource site that was developed by the Region 10 Education Service Center and their awarded TIE grant. The design and creation of these resources was, and still is, being worked on by Jody Cawood, David Lester, and myself. As a grant administrator, my primary responsibility was the development of this site and the resources found inside and outside of the firewall.
