There is a wonderful Glazer tradition. Every Saturday, we get together to steal Dad from work and allow him to buy us lunch. We kids think of this as the "anything for a free meal" time as a family :)
These pictures were taken one Saturday (surprisingly before lunch at Snuffer's). Here is Mom distracting Dad
while he works (yeah, right, works) and, of course, Mom can't have all the fun, so here I am
distracting Dad as well.
Brother Bill and Sis-in-Law RoseMarie trucked in with all three kids. Mom immediately grabbed
newest grandchild, Sydney.
Carl
and Samantha
are natural posers, especially when making goofy faces.
Just before we left, Carl grabbed this picture of his parents
- notice the six year old camera angle.
During vacation between Autumn and Winter quarter I went home and had fun. Our Hanukah party was especially fun with the Miller family. After our traditional pizza dinner we returned chez Glazer for a fierce game of Dreidel
. Everyone was betting their filberts
and spinning well
. In the end, poor Travis
was robbed of the title "winner" by the littlest dreideler, Samantha
. After the winner was declared, the kids broke out the Twister game
. Good thing Brooks
was there to show Samantha her right from her left. During vacation I felt supremely guilty for infringing on my parent's
alone time. It was fun to see Dad take some ownership in the house though
Mom was looking for a new one. Finally, we had a special visitor on Christmas eve - Mr. Hanky
from South Park!
In February I made a long trip for a short stay at home (no thanks to the AA pilots strike). Tracy
was in town from London for a visit with Charlie
and Jake.
Pop entertained the troops,
Charlie climbed some trees,
and Carl was subject to a user study by his evil Aunt Courtney.
