Legacy

You can use Legacy instead of PowerPoint to present slides. Legacy doesn't have PowerPoint's fancy animation tools, but it has a built-in Inquiry Cycle that can help students carry out investigations and present their results. You can also use Legacy as a template or guide for carrying out and reporting cases, problems, and projects.
