Cognitive Tutor
What is it?
Follows students step-by-step as they
solve problems. Helps each student to
develop a conceptual understanding of
the mathematics that will help to find the
answer. The tutor intervenes with "just-in-time" instruction when students make
mistakes resulting from a lack of such
understanding.
