bullet3 Video Conferencing

What is it?

Video Conferencing is essentially a real-time conversation between parties that are not physically together.  In the most basic sense, video conferencing involves real-time images (using technology like a "web cam") and sounds.  Video conferencing allows remote guest speakers to "visit" a class, including professionals in a field and experts in a certain area.  These guest speakers can not only present, but can also answer students' questions.  In addition, guest speakers can meet with groups of students at a time, allowing multiple guest speakers to be "present."

Where do I find it?

Video Conferencing requires the use of a PC connected to the internet, a web cam, speakers, a microphone, and the software to run the conference.
